Advantage Tax Service, founded by Jim and Lynn Flynn on October 1, 1992, will begin another Income Tax filing season on 01-01-10. "That's a milestone we are very proud of. We have been entrusted with the completion of 23,788 tax returns in our last seventeen years and we feel very fortunate to have such great clients who have helped us with that achievement." We pride ourselves in providing the utmost personalized service and realize that taxes are extremely personal. We understand the importance of making tax preparation an accurate and efficient process. We have a high regard for our clients, so we strive to provide "tax care" not merely tax preparation. We are continually seeking education in order to provide the utmost level of care. Jim Flynn is an IRS Enrolled Agent, which qualifies him to represent clients in front of the Internal Revenue Service. He was extensively tested and maintains a high level of professionalism and is constantly striving to gain new knowledge by continuing education to improve all areas of the Tax Practice. Jim also is a Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant. Again, these designations were gained after many years of study, testing, and practical experiences in dealing with his clients. Jim holds a professional membership in the National Association of Tax Professionals, National Association of Enrolled Agents, and S.C. Tax Council. Also, he has been involved with insurance planning for 37 years. We are delighted to announce that Matt has returned full time to the family business and will have his own office in E. Main Plaza located at 958A E. Main St.
Also, Joel and Nikki Akridge are here from St. Louis and will be helping us this year. Jim and Lynn are life long residents of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and have raised four children. We have three locations to serve you. Our main location, which is open year-round, is at 575 W. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29301. Our two other locations are open only during the tax filing season is at 520 W. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29301 and 958A E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. Each of these locations are fully staffed and available during the tax season from 8:00am - 7:00pm.
